There is no difference who should sign a digital or analogue agreement.
For a company to become legally bound by an agreement, it's appropriate that the person usually signing agreements at the company is also the one signing electronically through the Assently service.
In other words
- the one who was appointed to sign the agreement,
- is the authorized signatory, or
- has authority to form a part of agreements through a power of attorney.
If you have received an agreement to sign, and you know that another person at your company should sign instead of you, you can notify the person who issued the case. They can then recall the case, and send it again to the correct person.
