Naming cases and templates

How are cases named?

Unless you've specifically named a case, it will be named after the filename of the document you upload to the case. The name can be changed before the case is sent for signing.

Cases created from templates

Cases created from a template with a pre-set name (see field 1 above) will always be named the pre-set name, regardless of the filename of the document.

If you'd like that these cases are named after the filename leave the field empty.

It's easier to distinguish between the templates, you can set internal names for templates. This name is set when editing the template and then choosing Template -> Template name (internally visible), field 2 above.
