Case Access Control

All outgoing emails from Assently with invitations to sign contains a unique link to the case, which is personal to the one signing. The complexity of the link is equivalent to an individual, strong password.

With the function called Case Access Control, you can further restrict the access to cases that has been sent using Assently. 

This function ensures you that only the intended person is able to open and view the agreement, by asking the person to confirm their identity (either by Electronic ID or SMS), before they gain access to the document they are invited to sign. 

Case Access Control with SMS

1. Enable Case Access Control with SMS.
2. Set a phone number for each party.
3. When the party clicks the Review and sign link in their email invite, they are sent a One Time Code to the phone number that they need to enter before they are granted access to the document. They can then sign the case with the allowed signature method(s).

Case Access Control with Electronic ID

1. Enable Case Access Control with Electronic ID.
2. Set a National ID Number for each party.
3. When the party clicks the Review and sign link in their email invite, they are asked to authenticate with Electronic ID. Upon successful authentication, the National ID Number is compared with the one specified, and if they match, the person is granted access to the case. They can then sign the case with the allowed signature method(s).

Stakeholders

If  "Additional stakeholders to notify" is configured on the case, a National ID Number or a Phone number for each stakeholder needs to be set in addition to the email address.

Case Access Control is called Åtkomstkontroll in Swedish.
