Assently Point of Sale lets your customers sign agreements and other documents in your store at the Point of Sale. You can sign any type of document: standard contracts, customer specific agreements or forms that your customers are filling out.
You can have multiple tablets (signing stations) in your store. Each tablet is signed in to Assently in a web browser in the Kiosk Mode, which lists the cases that are ready for signing. The customer selects their agreement from the list, reviews and signs the case. Since the solution is web based, you can use any tablet: iPad, Android or Windows.
Activate the Kiosk Mode
- Open the web browser on the tablet and sign in to Assently.
- Select "Starta Kiosk Mode" in the top of the web office.
For security reasons, you will need to sign in again if you want to return to the web office from the Kiosk Mode.
What is shown in the Kiosk Mode?
The Kiosk Mode lists all sent cases with an open party. You can configure how many minutes a case is shown in the list in the Kiosk Mode. If there is not time limit set, the case is shown in the list until the case is recalled.
Send a case to the tablet
The cases that are to be signed can be sent from the web office from a computer, with Print to Assently (a virtual printer driver for Windows), or using the Assently E-Sign API.
A common way to use Point of Sale, is to set up a template in the web office with one open party and some predefined settings, such as signature methods, and modified notification settings so that the party only gets an email once a case has been signed.
- Sign in to Assently from a computer.
- Create a case from the template and send it.
- The case is shown in the list on the tablet.
- Ask the customer to select their case from the list, review the case and sign it on the tablet.
Note! Point of Sale is an add on feature. Reach out to your sales contact or support@assently.com if you don't have access to this feature today, and want to learn more about it or try it out!
