What is LiveID?

Updated

With LiveID you can securely verify the identity of people over the phone with electronic IDs (eIDs) from the Nordic countries.

How to identify a person with eID

LiveID supports electronic IDs from all Nordic countries and the Baltic Smart-ID.

To identify a person you send them a identification link via email or SMS.

There is one exception: with Swedish BankID you can directly start an identification attempt based on a Swedish national ID number (personnummer), see below.

  • Ask the customer to follow the link they've received to identify themselves. The link is valid for 10 minutes.
