How can I show National ID Numbers on signed documents?

Updated

When a document is signed with an electronic ID personal data related to the party is stored on the case. It will become available for users on the Assently E-Sign account and shown on the receipt page of the e-signed document. This means that all parties to an agreement can see the personal data of the other parties.

The account administrator can change which personal data that is shown on Account Settings -> Privacy & Security.

When “Show National ID Numbers on Signed Documents” is enabled, the National ID Number (such as Swedish personnummer) is shown with the e-signature on the receipt page of the signed document. This only applies to e-signatures made with electronic IDs that includes an ID Number, such as the Swedish BankID. By default National ID Numbers are not shown on signed documents from Assently E-Sign.

For E-Sign Accounts created before 2020-04-09 the default setting was that National ID Numbers are shown.

The settings mentioned above don't affect the evidence related to the parties' signatures that is stored in the signed document, see here. This evidence will contain personal data, often including national ID numbers.

The account administrator can contact support@assently.com to request that this evidence shouldn't be saved in the file.
